Balfour Beatty Rail Services
Balfour Beatty Rail Services is one of the UK's largest track renewals organisations and at the forefront of maintenance service provision and innovation to the UK rail industry.
We provide a complete renewals service from formation through to complete relaying of plain line and S&C work, and we have extensive experience of busy commuter routes, main line routes, mixed freight routes and several of the most important routes into London.
We have also carried out significant works as part of major projects including the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) and Croydon Tramlink.
Expertise within our Plant division includes track maintenance, track support and engineering. To support these activities we have an innovations team who provide custom built solutions to enable safer and more productive working.
Through our teams we are able to provide a complete Track Geometry Service including tamping, regulating, ballast cleaning and track stabilisation. Our Specialist Services team provides a range of services including Road Rail Vehicles, Kirow Cranes, Rail Grinding, New Track Construction (NTC) and Drain Cleaning remediation.
Our Trackside Plant & Equipment team provides a 'one stop' approach for the supply of rail and non-rail specific tools and equipment. Our hire fleet of over 12,000 items is supported by a comprehensive maintenance and testing service. Additionally, we provide a 24/7 fitter cover to support our customers.
Our focus is on delivering a quality product on time and safely. We are currently working closely with our customers and our sister companies across Balfour Beatty Rail to identify and introduce new equipment to generate extra value for the network.
