 We view placement students as potential future graduates so we want to train & develop you as early as possible.
The specific courses you attend will be dependant upon the role you are carrying out, however, as a minimum you will attend an induction, Personal Track Safety (where applicable) and Heath & Safety related courses.
Development is so much more than courses though and this is particularly true as you will only be with us for a relatively short period of time.
You will be given the support and guidance of experienced engineers, managers, etc enabling you to learn as much as possible whilst you are here. Your progress will be monitored so an area where you may need additional support is identified.
Our Graduate schemes are accredited by the relevant institutions i.e. IMechE, ICE and as a result institution days are held throughout the year. If in the future you will want to gain chartership then you will be able to attend the institution days and learning events that are held throughout the year. |
